flight to lucknow returns to bengaluru 10 minutes after take off

A Bengaluru-Lucknow flight made an emergency landing at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) 10 minutes after take-off. Due to technical problems, the flight returned back to the airport. The incident took place on Saturday morning, after the AIX Connect flight took off from Bengaluru airport at around 6.45 am and returned soon after facing a technical snag mid-air.

An AIX Connect spokesperson said, “The scheduled morning flight from Bengaluru to Lucknow encountered a minor technical problem and elected to return to Bengaluru as a precautionary measure. Necessary steps are being taken to minimize the impact on other scheduled works. While an alternate aircraft was being arranged, refreshments were provided to the guests in the interim.

Meanwhile, an Akasa Air flight QP 1323 flying from Bengaluru to Guwahati reported suspicious landing at the Guwahati airport. The aircraft landed safely, and after a detailed inspection, it was later cleared for the next flight. As a result, subsequent flight departures were affected, Akasaka Air said in a statement.
