The IMD has also predicted an increase of about 2 degree Celsius in the minimum temperature over many parts of northwest India till January 20.

Talking about dense fog, it said that it is very likely at isolated places during night and morning hours over Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura during January 19-21.
