Use Sugar and Lemon

The henna on the hands eventually dries up and starts coming out and as a result the henna is not that deep. In such a situation, mix lemon juice and sugar and apply henna on hands and feet with cotton. Your mehndi will not only last longer on your hands, but it will also enhance its color.

try cloves

You can also use cloves to darken henna stains. For this, bake and crush 3-4 cloves. Now mix it in your regular henna paste.

apply mustard oil

Most of the women wash their hands with water to get rid of mehndi. But, to darken the henna, it is better to remove it with mustard oil. For this, apply mustard oil in the hands and slowly remove the henna. You can also use eucalyptus oil instead of mustard oil.

try to avoid water

Try to keep your hands away from water after applying henna. Do not touch the water for at least 5-6 hours as it will lighten the color. A common mistake all women make is that they wash their hands to get rid of it, but what they can do is rub it or scrape off all the henna.
