A few days back, Shraddha Kapoor declared her stand on the foodie debate of veg biryani is not a biryani. The actress dropped a picture of a yummy-looking rice dish. Going by the picture, the rice grains looked perfectly seasoned with several spices, making the dish appear delicious. The rice dish was kept next to some boondi raita and pickled onion slices on the plate. The text on the image read, “Haan veg vaalo ki bhi biryani hoti hai… Haan [Yes, vegetarians also have their biryani… yes].” Wondering what kind of veg biryani Shraddha relished? Her hashtag revealed that she enjoyed the delectable kathal (jackfruit) biryani. Further emphasising her point, Shraddha added a hashtag, “Not Pulao”.

In case you don’t know, Shraddha often celebrates Indian festivals by gorging on home-cooked meals.
