Cyrus Mistry dies in car accident Industrialist and former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry died in a car accident near Mumbai on Sunday. He was 54 years old.

According to reports, Palghar Superintendent of Police has confirmed the news that Cyrus Mistry has died in the accident.

Reports said that Mistry’s car collided with a divider on the road, when the industrialist succumbed to his injuries.

The accident happened at Palghar near Mumbai when he was returning from Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Mistry was going from Ahmedabad to Mumbai when his car collided with the divider. Four people were in the car, out of which two died. The other two have been admitted to a local hospital in Casa.

Mistry was traveling in a Mercedes car.

The accident happened around 3.15 pm, when Mistry was on his way from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. The accident happened on the bridge over the Surya river. The police officer said it sounds like an accident.

Two other people traveling with him, including the driver of the car, were injured. All the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Gujarat.
