Fourth accused arrested in Hyderabad gang rape case

Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills Police arrested another child in conflict with law (CCL) minor gang rape case on Sunday.

This is the third CCL arrested sensational case, Western Zone DCP Joel Davis said he was being produced in a juvenile court. Another accused Saaduddin Malik has already been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Several police teams are on the lookout for the fifth accused, Omar Khan.

Meanwhile, the police found that the vehicle in which the accused had tortured the minor was cleared by the accused.

Police sources said the vehicle was seized from a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city. “Clearly concerned about leaving any evidence of assault, the accused has sanitized the vehicle. It is equivalent to checking the evidence,” said a police officer on condition of anonymity. Based on the new finding, the investigators have decided to invoke Section 201 of the Indian Penal Code against the accused.

Governor expressed pain

Meanwhile, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed deep grief over the heinous crime. The Governor directed the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police to submit a detailed report on the crime within two days.
