FPIs invest ₹13,540 crore in Indian stocks in 7 days due to Adani’s block deal

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) are net buyers in March so far. So far, seven trading sessions have been recorded in the month and FPIs have invested on these days 13,540 crore in Indian equity. This also includes the mega block deal in four Adani Group companies. Going forward, FPIs are likely to remain cautious in their approach towards the market.

As per NSDL data, FPIs invested 13,540 crore in Indian equities from March 1 to March 10.

Trading in the Indian market was conducted between March 1-3, March 6 and again March 8-10. The markets were closed on 4-5 March due to the weekend and on 7 March due to the festival of Holi.
