Arjun Kapoor recalls his fitness journey last year while battling COVID-19

actor Arjun Kapoor was among the B-town celebs who contracted the deadly COVID-19 on September 6 last year and were under home quarantine. After exactly a year of being positive, today she posted a picture of herself working out at the gym on her Instagram handle. Along with the picture, he wrote a long note on his journey from being positive to achieving his fitness. He wrote, ‘It’s been a year since I tested positive for COVID-19… and it pushed my fitness level back by months. In the lockdown and boom, I had just started getting into the routine, I got covid. For someone like me – the struggle is constant, every day counts, every training session counts.’ Recalling how he was disappointed and upset after being positive, he continued, ‘I remember being disappointed, distraught. I was on the road to a change emotionally, mentally, I was there to do it… It took me a few days to recover from the fact that after taking all precautions, it happened to me. But I told myself, I will try doubly hard not to let this derail me.’ He also mentioned his routine amid the road to recovery and wrote, ‘During my recovery my mind and body were at their peak of eating clean and resting. I resumed the virtual training session with my trainer Drew Neal soon after testing negative and that boosted my morale. The slow and steady road of recovery continued for a few months. It gave me a lot and it took me a few months to realize that I was on the right track to be fit again. Revealing that he is still working hard to get back to his fitness routine, he concluded by writing, ‘Even when I started shooting for Bhoot Police, I worked Was finding his feet again with rhythm and his fitness routine. A year later I am still a work in progress… but I am proud of the journey, where I am today and happy to move forward with my renewed vigor in the last 12 months.’
