Gadvasu organizes workshop on climate change impacts. Ludhiana News – Times of India

Ludhiana: Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (gadvasu) Workshop on ‘Climate Change and Animal Production’ organized Punjab‘, below National Adaptation Fund on Climate Change (NAFCC) funded project ‘Towards Climate Resilient Livestock Production (CRLP) System in Punjab’.
“It is a multi-institutional project with a total budget outlay of Rs 18 crore approved in 2016. The project will end on October 31,” said JPS Gill, research director, Gadvasu.
He said that even after the completion of the project, the university would organize livestock awareness camps and provide information related to its production.
NABARD Cluster Head Ludhiana Division Davinder Kumar said, “Under the project, climate controlled sheds have been constructed in villages. tarn taranBathinda and Ludhiana.”
