Ludhiana: More than 300 proposals will be discussed here finance And contract committee (F&CC) meeting will be held on Wednesday. GAIL (India) Limited has sought permission from the civic body to lay the pipeline in the city and the authorities have proposed to adopt a new policy to allow permission.
The officials claimed that they had earlier sought permission, but for that they needed clearance from the F&CC. The firm’s detailed plan will be disclosed later.
The terms and conditions have been modified under the new telecom policy. Telecom companies will have to fulfill additional conditions to get permission from the civic body.
They will also be charged more for laying cables down the road.
Other issues to be discussed in the meeting include sewer inspection, camera procurement Clean India MissionWater supply lines in three wards under solid waste management, contractor to start bioremediation of 5 lakh metric ton old waste at Tajpur Road garbage dump, Water Resources Department with Water Resources Department for 250 cusecs canal water supply MoU signing treatment plant, among others.
Mayor Balkar Sandhu He said he would approve the proposals after discussion.
