GATE 2022 result out ahead of schedule? Know when, where and how to check scores

GATE 2022 result is to be declared on March 17. Last year, GATE 2021 was declared a few days ahead of its scheduled time. Since the GATE 2022 answer key objection window has been closed and the final answer key is awaited, speculations are rife that GATE 2022 may also be announced before the scheduled date. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur The exam conducting institute has told in its schedule that the GATE result will be released on March 17 at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. However, the score card will be available from March 21 as per the schedule.

Once declared, candidates can access the result online by using their login credentials including registration ID, email address, enrollment ID and password. GATE result 2022 will include the candidates’ scores, qualifying marks, All India rank and other details.

IIT Kharagpur had released the preliminary answer key for GATE 2022 on February 21. The window to raise objections had closed on February 25. Such objections will be studied and the final answer key will be released. The results will be based on the final answer key. By using GATE 2022 answer key, candidates can estimate their marks before the official result declaration.

GATE 2022 Result: How to check?

After the declaration of result, candidates can follow these simple steps to check their result online:

Step 1: IIT Kharagpur- GATE 2022 portal, gate.iitkgp.ac.in. log on

Step 2: Click on GATE 2022 Result link available on the homepage

Step 3: Enter your login ID and password to check the result

Step 4: Submit your request.

Step 5: Your GATE 2022 scorecard will be displayed on the device screen.

Those who qualify for GATE 2022 will be eligible for admission to MTech courses in various IITs, IIITs, NITs and PSU recruitments. The GATE 2022 examinations were conducted on February 12 and 13 at various centers across the country.

This year, two new subjects, Geomatics Engineering and Naval Engineering were introduced in the GATE exam, taking the total number of subjects to 29.
