German-made Eurabus electric buses to soon run on Kalyan-Dombivli corridor in Maharashtra: Details – Times of India

London-based mass transit company Caussis E-Mobility has bagged a contract to provide over 100 e-buses to Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Transport.KDMT) total 1079-meter MIDI, AC and non-AC German made’urabusElectric buses have been approved by Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) on wet lease basis for a period of twelve years with drivers and associated electrical and civil infrastructure.
Electric buses will soon be seen plying in Kalyan-Dombivli municipal areas as well as adjoining areas of Thane district of Maharashtra state. According to the official website, the Eurabus 3.0 has a claimed 600km range and comes with a 10-year warranty on full battery performance. The company claims that the life cycle cost of the Eurabus is low as compared to its rivals.
