Ghiloth: Havells India opens new manufacturing facility for washing machines in Ghiloth, Rajasthan – Times of India

Havells India Ltd announces its first ‘Industry 4.0’ manufacturing plant Lloyd AC in Ghiloth, Rajasthan. The company has now also entered into washing machine (WM) production at the same location. slurry Where is the AC plant. Spread over 50 acres in Ghiloth, the greenfield WM unit aims to strengthen Lloyd’s WM production capacity with a targeted production of 3 lakh units annually. The company claims that this plant strengthens its ‘Make in India’ vision.
According to the company, currently manufacturing washing machines, the facility is equipped to expand to over 5 lakh units annually. The manufacturing plant comprises best-in-class machinery from Japan, Korea and Italy and is equipped with 10 robotic machines and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) and fully integrated material handling system. The plant also has Management Execution System – MES from Dassault, France which helps in real time monitoring of processes thereby improving productivity and reducing loss-time and wastage.

This ‘Industry 4.0 Plant’ complements the ‘Make in India Vision’ of the Government of India and helps us to make world class ACs which are being exported to more than 25 countries across the world.”
