Female students to get benefit of menstruation in Kerala’s CUSAT

Cochin University of Science and technology (CUSAT) provided “menstrual benefits” in Kerala this week. Female students will get additional 2% in attendance benefit for each semester. As per the University policy, in order to appear for the examination, students must have a minimum of 75% attendance in each semester. In case of low attendance when female students start taking menstruation benefits, the minimum requirement will now come down to 73%. This instruction will be applicable to all female CUSAT students pursuing Ph.D.
