Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh asked to step down from the post of WFI President

Standoff between agitating wrestlers including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik and Wrestling Federation India (WFI) has come to an end. Wrestlers called off their three-day strike after the government assured them of an inquiry into allegations of sexual harassment against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Army relieves 30 women officers from command roles

For the first time in its history, the Indian Army has approved over 30 women officers from various units for command roles. The first list contains names that have been cleared from Corps of Engineers, Signals, Ordinance, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. The women officers who have cleared the list are eligible for promotion to higher posts in future. More lists are likely to come in the future.
