Go Digit Insurance introduces three new health plans know details

Go Digit General Insurance has launched three new plans under the Digit Health Insurance Policy – Digit Double Wallet Plan, Digit Infinity Wallet Plan and Digit Worldwide Treatment Plan – aimed at meeting the newly evolved health insurance needs post the pandemic.

What the three plans will offer:

Digit Infinity Wallet Plan: The plan will help customers take care of rising medical costs with the option of Unlimited Back-up Sum Insured (SI). This will allow people to make multiple claims within a single policy year. However, no single claim under the policy can exceed the SI and the backup SI will be triggered only after the SI is exhausted. The back-up sum assured will kick in from day one and will not have any termination clause. With this, people will be able to use their sum insured multiple times in a single year. However, no single claim under the policy can exceed the SI and the backup SI will be triggered only after the SI is exhausted.

Digit Double Wallet Plan: The plan will give policyholders the option of double back-up sum assured. This will allow the customers to double the Sum Assured (SI) chosen by them in the same policy year as a backup SI. No single claim under the policy can exceed the SI and the backup SI will be activated only after the SI is exhausted. This plan will be relatively cheaper than Digit Infinity Wallet plan

Digit Worldwide Treatment: This scheme will give freedom to people to get treatment anywhere in the world including India. Customers can plan their treatment abroad if they are diagnosed with an ailment in India.

Vivek Chaturvedi, CMO and Head of Direct Sales, Go Digit General Insurance said, “We hope to improve health insurance penetration in India with these plans as people will no longer be restricted by where and how they want to get treatment. “

Policyholders will be able to further enhance their coverage at a small additional cost by opting for add-ons like PED waiting period amendment cover (those who want to reduce their waiting period can also opt for two years waiting period) and consumables cover, Which will help take care of almost the entire hospital bill including consumable expenses like PPE kits, gloves, masks etc.

All plans will include complimentary health check-up on renewal, and will cover personal accident, organ donor expenses, mental illness and bariatric surgery.
