Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant submitted his resignation to the state Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai at Raj Bhavan in Panaji on March 12. “I submitted my resignation. The governor gave me a letter to be the caretaker chief minister till the process is completed,” said CM Sawant. The BJP has emerged as the single largest party in Goa by winning 20 seats in the 40-member state assembly.
