GoFirst flight canceled till May 9, may ask for full refund to passengers

Crisis-hit airline First Go (First Go) has forfeited all its contracts till May 9. At the same time, DGCA says that the booking of Go First has been stopped till May 15. According to the DGCA, airline ticket bookings that have been repaid or existing tickets are being considered to be allowed to be used for future travel.

Earlier, Go had announced the suspension of its flights till May 3, 4 and 5 due to fund issues. This information was given by the head of the airline, Kaushik Chhona himself. Chhona had said that first Jao is stopping the operation of 25 flights of his bed. Its total number of flights is half.

Chhona had said that this is a very unfortunate decision. But we had to take this decision to protect the company. Go First says flights have been canceled due to operational reasons.

GoFirst Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kaushika Chhone told the company’s employees that a recurring problem with Pratt & Whitney engines has led to the crisis today. Chhona employees are assured that the airline is taking every step to deal with the situation and is concerned about them. The low-cost carrier airline has also applied for voluntary insolvency proceedings earlier.
