Gold fell by ₹ 225, silver by ₹ 80

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices declined by Rs 225 to Rs 60,075 per 10 grams in the national capital on May 2 amid a fall in the prices of the precious metal internationally.

In the previous trade, the yellow metal had closed at Rs 60,300 per 10 grams.

Silver also fell by Rs 380 to Rs 75,600 per kg.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst – Commodities, Saumil Gandhi said, “Gold prices are trading at Rs 60,075 per 10 gm, up by Rs 225 per 10 gm in Delhi markets.”

In the overseas market, both gold and silver were trading lower at $1,987 an ounce and $25.05 an ounce, respectively.

Gold prices declined in Asian trading hours on Tuesday.
