Gold fell by ₹101; Silver falls by ₹334

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell by Rs 101 to Rs 51,024 per 10 grams on October 27 amid weak global trends and a rise in the rupee.

In the previous trade, the yellow metal had closed at ₹51,125 per 10 grams.

Silver also declined by ₹ 334 to ₹ 58,323 per kg. The rupee rose 67 paise to 82.14 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday as the dollar retreated from higher levels.

Dilip Parmar, Research Analyst, HDFC Securities said, “Weak rupee and weak gold prices in Comex have led to the fall in domestic gold prices today.
