gold marginally higher; Silver Broken ₹536

Gold rises by ₹37 to ₹47,902 per 10 grams; Silver breaks down from ₹ 536 to ₹ 61,102 per kg

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices rose by Rs 37 to Rs 47,902 per 10 grams in the national capital on February 3, supported by depreciation of the rupee.

In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at ₹ 47,865 per 10 grams.

However, silver fell by ₹ 536 to ₹ 61,102 per kg from ₹ 61,638 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,803 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 22.55 an ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Gold was trading marginally lower at $ 1,803 an ounce in Comex on Thursday.”
