gold marginally higher; Silver climbed ₹490

According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 65 to Rs 46,012 per 10 grams in the national capital on October 7 in line with the jump in international precious metal prices.

In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at ₹45,947 per 10 grams.

Silver also rose by ₹490 to ₹60,172 per kg from ₹59,682 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was trading in green at $ 1,766 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 22.74 an ounce.
