Gold rises ₹99 on strong global trends

According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 99 to Rs 46,312 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday amid a correction in global precious metal prices.

According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 99 to Rs 46,312 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday amid a correction in global precious metal prices.

The precious metal had closed at ₹ 46,213 per 10 grams in the previous trade.

However, silver declined by Rs 32 to Rs 61,667 per kg from Rs 61,699 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,798 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 23.66 an ounce.

According to Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities, “Gold was trading at $1,798 an ounce in COMEX trading on Friday.”
