Gold rises by ₹ 450; Silver down by ₹380

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices rose by ₹450 to ₹61,300 per 10 grams in the national capital on May 9 amid a rise in the precious metal prices internationally.

In the previous trade, the yellow metal had closed at Rs 60,850 per 10 grams.

Silver, however, fell by Rs 380 to Rs 77,400 per kg.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst – Commodities, Saumil Gandhi said, “Gold prices are trading at Rs 61,300 per 10 gm, Rs 450 per 10 gm in Delhi markets.”

In the overseas market, gold was trading higher at $ 2,024 an ounce and silver was trading lower at $ 25.45 an ounce.
