According to HDFC Securities, gold on Thursday jumped by Rs 592 to Rs 51,750 per 10 grams in the national capital, amid a rally in international precious metal prices.

Silver also rose by ₹1,335 to ₹56,937 per kg from ₹55,602 per kg in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,747 an ounce while silver was flat at $ 19.38 an ounce.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Gold prices rose after the US Federal Reserve hiked key interest rates by 75 bps in line with market expectations.”
