Google Nest Cam smart device has been launched India This week, and the company is using the support of Tata Play to market its product. The Google Nest Cam is a security camera that can be mounted indoors or outdoors and can handle all weather conditions.
The camera supports motion sensor and alerts you if someone intrudes in the area. Nest Cam works in conjunction with the Nest Aware subscription service, and both are provided through Tata Play Secure Plus in the country.

Google Nest Cam has been launched in India for Rs 11,999, which comes with Nest Aware Basic service that provides support for up to 4 Nest Cams for two months. Once the free pack is exhausted, the annual cost of Nest Aware service is Rs 3000. Tata is offering Google Nest Mini 2nd gen speaker with Play Nest Cam.
Tata Play will start selling the camera to its customers for now, and you can pick it up in top metro cities in the country.

Google Nest Cam has been present in the market for years, but the company never launched it in India. Even now, Tata Play is the authorized service brand handling the sales and service of the cameras. The Nest Cam is only effective when paired with the Nest Aware service pack.

Google Nest Cam costs so much that it offers AI-based face recognition feature, and its all-weather support means it can work in heavy rain and dark conditions.
Google Nest Cam has a 2-megapixel camera that offers 130-degree diagonal field of view, 6x digital zoom, and records video in 16:9 aspect ratio. The camera has a built-in battery, lets you record in Full HD aka 1080p resolution and supports dual-band Wi-Fi network for connectivity.
