Google Cloud Establishes Dedicated Team to Improve Blockchain Security

Google Cloud has announced a new dedicated team to fuel blockchain efforts and help companies build secure blockchain-based infrastructure. The digital assets team within Google Cloud will support the needs of its customers in building, transacting, storing value and deploying new products on the blockchain-based platform.

“This new team will help our customers accelerate their efforts in this emerging space and underpin the blockchain ecosystem of tomorrow,” Google Cloud said in a statement.

Blockchain and distributed ledger-based companies such as Hedera, Theta Labs, and Dapper Labs have chosen to build on top of what is already Google Cloud for scalability, flexibility, and security.

Going forward, the Digital Assets team will launch a number of short- and long-term initiatives to support companies in the digital assets/blockchain ecosystem.

It will help developers and users to host their nodes on the cleanest cloud in the industry, supporting their environmental, social and governance initiatives.

Google cloud infrastructure ensures that developers can accelerate the distribution of software and data on the blockchain, providing faster access to applications for users.
