For those unaware, Angelo Morionado was born on June 6, 1851, into a family of entrepreneurs who had previously created a popular brewery and a chocolate company. Following in the footsteps of his ancestors, Angelo also built a coffee machine that could reduce wait times for customers when buying a cup of coffee. “Despite the popularity of coffee in Italy, customers spent time waiting for the coffee to be smothered. Morionado thought that brewing several cups of coffee at once would allow him to serve more customers at a faster rate, giving him an edge over his competitors.” Will get it.” Google Doodle reads blogpost.

This is when Angelo Morionado created his invention and presented the espresso machine at the General Expo in Turin in 1884. “He received a patent for the new steam machinery, method ‘A. Morionado’, for the economical and instant confection of coffee drinks,” the blogpost continues. In subsequent years, he continued to improve his invention and make it accessible to all.
