Google Pixel Fold tipped display details, may launch with Samsung-made panels

Google’s first foldable smartphone Pixel Fold has been in the news for some time now. In a recent update, a Chinese tipster has suggested the display and camera specifications of the handset. The Google Pixel Fold codenamed ‘Felix’ is said to feature a dual display manufactured by Samsung. The folding screen is tipped to support a resolution of 1,840×2,208 pixels and can measure 123mm x 148mm. The inner display of the Google Pixel Fold is claimed to deliver a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits with an average brightness of 800 nits. In addition, the smartphone could pack a triple rear camera setup that includes a Sony IMX787 primary sensor.

Google Pixel Fold is set to come with triple rear cameras led by Sony IMX787 primary sensor. The camera unit is said to include an IMX386 ultra-wide lens and the S5K3J1 telephoto lens. The inner screen may house an IMX355 sensor, while the outer display is said to sport the S5K3J1 telephoto selfie sensor.
