NCW Rekha Sharma had summoned Italia for using “derogatory and abusive language” against PM Modi and said his remarks were “gender biased, anti-feminist and reprehensible”. She said Italia did not respond appropriately to the questions.
“His statement and his written statement do not match. I have told the police that action should be taken against him as he was creating atmosphere to affect the law and order situation. His supporters forcefully entered (NCW office) Tried to do it,” Rekha Sharma said…
He told reporters after the hearing that Italia had claimed in his oral statement that he was not the person in the video. However, in his written reply, he said that he did not mean it.

The Aam Aadmi Party has condemned the action of Delhi Police and the alleged conspiracy against the party.
The party’s national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and said that the Patel community of Gujarat is outraged by Italia’s detention.
“Italia’s detention had created huge anger among the Patel community across Gujarat,” Kejriwal said and asked why the “entire BJP” was behind Italia.
Kejriwal’s deputy Manish Sisodia termed Italia’s detention as “BJP politics” and alleged that he was “detained because he belonged to a party that knew how to change schools”.
Italia himself termed the BJP an enemy of the Patidars and an alleged threat by the NCW chief.
