Government cancels strategic disinvestment of BPCL. business – Times of India Videos

Following the prevailing market conditions and geopolitical situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the government has called off the current Expression of Interest (EoI) process for strategic disinvestment of state-run refiner BPCL. The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) informed about the development. DIPAM had issued the Global Invitation for EoI on March 7, 2020 for strategic disinvestment of 52.98% equity share capital held by the Central Government in BPCL.
