Government made this big announcement for ration card holders

New Delhi: Ration Card: If you are also a ration card holder, then this news is of your use. This good news has been given by the government to the person with Antyodaya ration card. Actually, the government has decided that Ayushman cards will be made for free treatment of Antyodaya card holders. To make Ayushman card, a special campaign will be run by the government at the community health centers at the district and tehsil level. Under this campaign, the target is to make Ayushman cards of all the families having Antyodaya cards.

This campaign will run till July 20.

Apart from this, the government has also ordered to start this facility at public convenience centers. One can also apply for Ayushman card here by showing the ration card (Antyodaya Ration Card). Actually, till now all the Antyodaya card holders (Antyodaya Ration Card) did not have Ayushman cards. Such cardholders can complete their process by July 20. Eligible beneficiaries can get their family’s Ayushman card made by showing their Antyodaya ration card to a public service center, community health center, private hospital attached to the Ayushman panel or a district hospital. Let us tell you that at present new Ayushman cards are not being made by the government. Those whose names are already in the scheme, their own cards are being made by the department. It is the intention of the government that in case of any kind of problem, the Antyodaya card holders should not have to wander to the hospitals for treatment. For this, instructions have also been given to the district supply officers of various districts from the government level.

Who gets the Antyodaya card?

Antyodaya Ration Card is issued to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. On this card every month food items are given to the beneficiary at affordable cost. Cardholders are given 35 kg of wheat and rice. Talking about the price, wheat is given at the rate of Rs 2 per kg and rice at Rs 3 per kg.
