Wrestlers protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar demanding the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and some policemen clashed on Wednesday night. The wrestlers alleged that Police personnel have assaulted them. While talking to NDTV on this issue, Bajrang Punia said that this is a very bad time. Bajrang Punia said – there was an argument over the bed

Bajrang Punia, who is protesting, said that he had brought the bed because of the incessant rains in Delhi. The police objected to this and a scuffle started over it. According to reports, Aam Aadmi Party leader Somnath Bharti had arranged cots for the wrestlers. For this Delhi Police has taken Somnath Bharti into custody.

In an official statement, the police said, “During the dharna at Jantar Mantar, AAP leader Somnath Bharti came to the dharna site carrying a mission cot. When the supporters intervened, they tried to take out the bed from the truck. Thereafter, A minor brawl took place.2 others including Somnath Bharti have been detained.
