Great start to Women’s Film Festival

It might be one of the hottest days of this monsoon, but for movie buffs on Saturday, it doesn’t matter. They thronged the Kairali-Sri Theater Complex in large numbers on the opening day of the 3rd Women’s International Film Festival.

Although the biggest attraction of the day – and of the festival, Clara SolaThe Costa Rica Spanish film that won the Golden Crow Pheasant Award at the International Film Festival of Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram was the inaugural film and its screening was scheduled for the evening after the opening ceremony, with film lovers arriving early in the morning to watch other films, such as love and love story (France).

The festival was inaugurated by PWD and Tourism Minister PA Mohammad Rias. Chalachitra Akademi President Ranjith, Vice President Premkumar, Directors Anjali Menon and Tara Ramanujan, Mini IG, Ayesha Sultana, Actress Kukku Parameswaran, Women’s Commission Chairperson P. Sathidevi, Mayor Bina Philip and District Collector N. Tej Lohit Reddy was present.

The festival organized by Chalchitra Akademi concluded on Monday.
