Guinness World Records recognized 22-year-old dog as the oldest dog in the world

Gino Wolf has adopted a healthy lifestyle.

According to Guinness World Records, California’s Gino Wolf is the oldest dog in the world. The dog’s owner, Alex Wolf, 40, attributes Gino’s longevity to a healthy and balanced diet, veterinary care and his zest for life.

According to Today.com, the pup was born on September 24, 2000, and was adopted in 2002 from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, Colorado.

Owner Alex Wolf told Guinness World Records“I’ve taken great care of her over the years, and she’s still in relatively good shape…and really cute, which is amazing considering her age!”

“I give him all the credit,” Wolf said. “She’s got a lot of love, and I think she’s just a strong dog.”

Gino is 22 years and 52 days old as on Nov 15, 2022 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

“When he was little, he loved exploring my parents’ huge backyard in Manhattan Beach with our other dogs, walking on a leash in Venice, going on drives along the coast, music with his head out the window blasting, or running around the golf course at La Quinta,” Wolf said.

According to today dot com These days, Gino prefers activities like taking naps by the fire, snacking on salmon treats, and riding around in the wagon, because his vision isn’t what it used to be. In fact, Wolf celebrated Gino’s Guinness World Record with an extra-long wagon ride.
