Ahmedabad: Class X Result Gujarat Board This year was 65.18% which is 4.54% higher than 2020. However, this year has seen a significant increase in the number of students securing more than 90% marks. This year 12,090 students got 90% marks which is an increase of 1,607 students as compared to 2020.
The board had given mass promotion in 2021.
Gujarat Secondary and board of higher secondary education results declared on monday SSC, Out of 7.8 lakh regular students who appeared in the exam, only 5.04 lakh cleared their exam which was a pass percentage of 65.18%.
Whereas out of 1.40 lakh repeaters who appeared in the exam, only 30.75 per cent cleared the exam.
Girls have once again shown that they are far better than boys. The pass percentage of girls was 11.74% higher than that of boys. The success ratio for girls was 71.66 percent, while that of boys was only 59.92 percent.
According to board officials, 87.084 students failed in one subject, while 1.01 lakh students failed to clear their exams in two subjects. These students will be allowed to take the re-exam to be held later this year.
Among the districts, Surat had the highest pass percentage of 75.64 percent while the lowest pass percentage was Patna (54.29%). However, this year the number of schools achieving 100% result stood at 294 as compared to 281 in 2020 and 336 in 2019.
