Ahmedabad: A mild tremor of 3.4 magnitude was felt in Kutch district of Gujarat on Tuesday morning. The officers provided this information. The district administration said there were no casualties or damage to property.
The Earthquake Research Institute (ISR) in Gandhinagar said the quake was recorded at 7.50 am, with its epicenter 19 km west-southwest of Rapar in the district.
The ISR said it was located at a depth of 21.7 km.
The district, which is located in a very ‘high risk’ seismic zone, has recorded three tremors of magnitude 3.4 in the last two weeks.
