Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates multispecialty hospital in Rajkot

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed Matushree KDP Multispecialty Hospital at Atkot, Rajkot. Matushree KDP Multispecialty Hospital, which is being visited by the Prime Minister, is managed by the Shri Patel Seva Samaj.

The multispecialty hospital will provide state-of-the-art medical equipment and provide world-class healthcare facilities to the people of the region.

After this, at around 4 pm, Prime Minister Modi will address a seminar of leaders of various cooperative institutions on the topic ‘Sahakar Se Prosperity’ at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. There he will also inaugurate the Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant at IFFCO, Kalol, the PMO said.

According to this the cooperative sector of Gujarat has been a role model for the whole country. There are more than 84,000 societies in the cooperative sector in the state with about 231 lakh members.

Taking another step towards further strengthening the cooperative movement in Gujarat, a seminar on ‘Sahakar Se Prosperity’ will be organized at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, which will be attended by leaders of various cooperatives.

More than 7,000 representatives from various cooperative institutions of the state will participate in the seminar, the statement said.

It also said that to help farmers increase productivity and increase their income, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Nano Urea (Liquid) plant built at IFFCO, Kalol. 175 crores.

Ultramodern Nano Fertilizer Plant has been established keeping in view the increase in crop yield using Nano Urea. About 1.5 lakh 500 ml bottles will be produced daily from the plant.
