Gujarat woman constable takes care of child while mother is writing exam. see photos

Many appreciated the sweet behavior of the constable.

A woman constable in Gujarat is being lauded on social media for taking care of an infant while the mother was appearing for the Gujarat High Court peon recruitment exam in Odhav on Sunday. Images shared on the official Twitter account of Ahmedabad Police showed constable Daya Ben holding and playing with a 6-month-old baby.

According to the caption of the post, a female examinee along with her six-month-old son reached the Odhav examination center to appear as a candidate for the post of peon in the Gujarat High Court. The exam was about to start in a few minutes but their child was crying continuously. Thankfully, the lady constable came forward to help and offered to look after the baby so that the mother could take her exam without any hassle.

“The child of a female examinee who came to Odhav to take the exam is crying so that time is not wasted during the women’s exam paper and it is good that she can take the exam in an orderly manner,” Ahmedabad police wrote.

The pictures went viral on social media and many appreciated the sweet behavior of the constable.

The third wrote, “This is the identity of the real police.” Nowadays, if a child causes too much trouble, he is silenced by saying that “the police will come and catch him”.
