The Oscar-winning filmmaker wore a custom saree designed by Pichika by Urvashi Sethi for The Kapil Sharma Show
Oscar award-winning filmmaker Guneet Monga continues to shower her love for elephants in sarees. This time, Guneet was seen draped in a beautiful silk saree by Urvashi Sethi designed by indigenous brand Pichika.
Guneet who is celebrating her 2023 Oscar win for her documentary film, The Elephant Whispers, in a range of sarees with elephant motifs, stepped out in a unique saree to attend the television show. Kapil Sharma Show.
On Instagram, the producer posted a series of pictures showcasing her look for the day. She wrote: “To The Kapil Sharma Show – continue to represent our endeavor with our gentleman veterans wherever we go!”
This labor of love designed by Pichika took about 10 days to paint. Made of pure silk, the saree plays the perfect canvas for beautiful hand painted scenes of elephants, clouds and lush green trees. The saree is made more beautiful with hand embroidered gota. The saree not only complements Guneet’s personality but also makes it a wearable art.
On Instagram, Pichika by Urvashi Sethi shared a series of pictures of a saree adorned by Guneet and shared a caption that read: “We are thrilled to see the stunning and uber talented Guneet Monga slaying in our exquisite Pichika saree ! We adapted this piece with elephants, trees and clouds to represent their journey to the worthy Oscar winner *”The Elephant Whisperers.”

Styled by celebrity stylist Manisha Melvani, who was also behind Guneet’s stunning look at the Academy Awards, Guneet’s The Kapil Sharma Show look also featured a pair of silver earrings from jewelery brand, Silver Palace. The exquisite earrings were adorned with an elephant motif made of silver with semi-precious stones and 22 karat gold plating. Manisha was assisted by Bidipto Das and hair and makeup for the look was done by celebrity hair and makeup artist Jyoti Advani.
