Chennai:

DMK’s organizing secretary RS Bharathi has stoked a fresh controversy by saying that North Indians sell Panipuri in Tamil Nadu and the Governor is like them.

He also compared the Governor to a migrant laborer from Bihar and said that if Jayalalithaa was alive, he would not have gone without being beaten.

“I had said earlier that people who sell Son Papdi and Panipuri do not know the pride of Tamil Nadu. I said this in a meeting. I came to know that many people have come from Bihar and I think the Governor (RN Ravi) comes by train like this,” DMK leader Bharti said at a public meeting here on Monday evening.

The Governor was accused by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin of “delivering a speech which was different and deviated from the accepted text”.

Mr. Bharti questioned why the Governor got distracted from the speech.

The DMK leader said, “There is an old saying in villages, ‘Don’t count the patta (banana leaves are used as plates for feast) if you are asked to take it’… Governor work is like picking leaves.” Told.

Mr Bharti said, “Address is like food on a leaf… You (Governor) are the cook. You should have cooked it and left it there… If you plan to keep something, the person who is eating it will Keep quiet?.. I am not boasting. If Jayalalithaa had ruled, she (the governor) would have been attacked and party people also would not have kept quiet.’

On Monday, the Tamil Nadu Assembly also witnessed an unprecedented scene when Governor Ravi walked out in a huff after adopting a resolution moved by Chief Minister Stalin, which, from the records of the House, said whatever the governor said outside the customary government-ready Had demanded its abolition. Address: ___ aboopur.
