A fire was reported on Monday evening on the fourth floor of Urdu Academy at Haj House in Nampally. Fire service officials confirmed that no one was injured but some documentary papers and furniture were burnt.
Officials said a distress call was received at 6.38 pm, following which a fire engine was rushed to the spot and another at 6.53 pm as the fire intensified. “After an hour, the fire was doused.
