Thiya, who designed the outfit for Sushmita in the much-acclaimed web series Aarya, recalls her experience working with the star and says, “Sushmita’s personality is so strong that it was difficult to dress her for Aarya. The biggest challenge was for us as a team to make people forget that they are seeing Sushmita on screen and believe in Arya’s world. She is an amazing actress to work with and it’s so much fun working on and developing her looks as we go through each season. ,
All set for season 2 of the series, Sushmita will be seen wearing a muted color tone outfit. “In Arya we had to be careful with her wardrobe as she becomes a widow very early on in the show. But we didn’t want to play heavily in that aspect. So, we kept the color palette muted but played with a silhouette that almost felt like a modern version of the salwar kurta,” shares Thea.
