India won the recently concluded T20I series against New Zealand 2-1 after a comprehensive win in the third match in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The match was always in India’s control Shubman Gill Scored his first century in the shortest format of the game and captain hardik pandya After taking four wickets to bundle out the Kiwis for just 66 runs. After the encounter, Pandya was presented with the series trophy but he quickly handed it over Prithvi Shaw, In a video posted by the BCCI on Twitter, Shaw appeared shocked to hold the trophy, but celebrated the victory with the rest of the team as they posed for official photographs.

India beat New Zealand by 168 runs – the biggest win by a Full Member against another in men’s T20Is. With this victory, Team India won the three-match T20 series 2-1.
daryl mitchell Top scorer for New Zealand with 35 runs in 25 balls. While India skipper Pandya was brilliant with both bat and ball as he played a crucial 17-ball 30 and took 4 wickets for just 16 runs in a spell of 4 overs.
Chasing a competitive target of 235, New Zealand got off to a poor start as they lost both the openers within two overs of the game. Indian captain Hardik Pandya took the wicket finn allen for three. Arshdeep Singh again struck twice to remove devon conway First ball of the second over and Mark Chapman for a duck. Three wickets had fallen on New Zealand’s score of just 5 runs.
The Indian bowlers did not allow any New Zealand player to set foot on the crease. New Zealand lose four wickets in the powerplay as Pandya gets out to give his team another wicket Glen Phillips for 2.
Michael Bracewell Then came down to bat. Bracewell opened his account by hitting a brilliant six off Pandya. Umran Malik Then delivered a stunner and dismissed Bracewell for 8 to leave New Zealand at 21/5.
New Zealand captain and left-handed batsman Mitchell Santner Then came down to bat at the crease. After this, Daryl Mitchell and Mitchell Santner took command and struggled against the Indian bowlers.
Shivam Mavi then joined the party and struck twice to dismiss Santner and Ish Sodhi, Santner returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 runs, while Sodhi also fell victim to Mavi’s ball and went to the hut at zero.

Pandya then took the wicket of Tickner in the 12th over of the innings. It didn’t take long for the Indian bowlers to bundle out New Zealand for 66 as Umran Malik took the last wicket of Daryl Mitchell.
Earlier, Shubman Gill’s ton and Hardik Pandya’s quick-fire 30 took India to 234/4 against New Zealand,
Gill was the top run-scorer for India, scoring 125 off 63 balls. Rahul Tripathi Pandya played a quick inning of 44 and Pandya 30. Michael Bracewell, Blair Tickner and Ish Sodhi took one wicket each for New Zealand.
Opting to bat first, India got off to a poor start and lost their star opener Ishan Kishan In the second over of the game. Shubman Gill finished the second over with a four. Gill then hit Lockie Ferguson for 11 runs, hitting two fours.
The duo of Rahul Tripathi and Gill played their game aggressively, smashing boundaries and taking singles at regular intervals. In the 5th over of the innings, Gill opened his hands and dismissed Blair Tickner for 14 runs. Tripathi then joined hands with the India opener and scored 14 runs in Ferguson’s over.
The young duo continued their fire and took their team past 80 runs in the 8th over of the game.
However, in a thrilling ninth over, India lost the wicket of Tripathi to Ferguson. Tripathi hit a six in Ferguson’s over and returned to the pavilion after scoring 44 runs in 22 balls.
star batter Suryakumar Yadav Then came out to bat and took India’s total past 100 in the 10th over with Gill. Gill brought up his maiden T20 half-century in 35 balls.
Suryakumar’s blaze at the Narendra Modi Stadium came to an end when the star batsman was dismissed by Tickner for 24 off 13 balls. Michael Bracewell took a stunner to remove Suryakumar who was looking dangerous at the crease.
After this, India’s captain and right-handed batsman Hardik Pandya came out to bat at the crease. Gill, continuing his explosive form, hit Ben Lister for two consecutive sixes and scored 14 runs in this over.
In the 17th over of the innings, Gill and Pandya piled on Tickner for 23 with the help of two sixes and two fours. Gill completed his century in 54 balls with a brilliant four off Ferguson’s ball.
India completed 200 runs in the 18th over. After this, Gill collected 17 runs off Lister in the 19th over of the innings. Pandya’s stint at the crease came to an end as he was dismissed by Daryl Mitchell. Pandya returned to the pavilion after scoring 30 runs off 17 balls.
India managed to score only 6 runs in the last over and posted a challenging total of 234/4 in 20 overs.
