India all-rounder Hardik Pandya He said he is ready to take over the captaincy on a full-time basis after the team led the team to a comprehensive victory in the final match of the Twenty20 series against West Indies.

Pandya said it was a “very special feeling” to captain India and when asked if he is looking forward to the role in the future, the 28-year-old said: “Yeah, why not?
“If given a chance, I would be very happy to do it. But for now, we have the World Cup coming up, it’s about getting better as a team.”
Pandya is no stranger to leadership roles, captaining Gujarat Titans to the Indian Premier League title in his first season this year. He also led India to a 2–0 T20 series win against Ireland in June.
India have used seven captains in all three formats this year and Rohit said it is an encouraging sign for the team.
Rohit told broadcaster Star Sports, “I know it is very exciting to have so many leaders around the team… and you want people to handle the pressure, who understand the game and know each other well. ”
