Harnaz Kaur Sandhu Brought laurels to the country by winning the title of Miss Universe in the year 2021 at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel. Apart from being crowned as the 70th Miss Universe, she is also the third Indian to bring the title back to India after Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta, who won the coveted position in 1994 and 2000 respectively. Now, after a year, as Hernaz welcomed Miss Universe 2022, she made her last walk as “Miss Universe” in the final event. However, it was a special moment in itself. The beauty, who dazzled in a plunging black gown, was welcomed on stage as the pageant contestants clapped for her. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she shook hands with the audience and folded hands in namaste. She was also seen staggering in between, but she regained her balance in no time. The caption was, “Hold back the tears as Harnaaz Kaur takes the stage for the last time as Miss Universe!”

Harnaaz Sandhu brought back the Miss Universe title to India in 2021 after nearly two decades.
