Haryana: A 40-year-old woman was set on fire during a fight in Gurugram’s Pataudi.

HaryanaA 40-year-old man was allegedly set ablaze after an argument with his brother-in-law in Uncha Majra village of Pataudi police station area on Saturday.

Both the seriously burnt woman and her brother-in-law are undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

According to the police, the accused Hem Karan had set his brother’s wife Kailash Devi on fire by pouring oil during a quarrel.

Both were taken to the hospital with severe burns and from there they were referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

Police spokesperson Subhash Boken said that an FIR has been lodged against Hem Karan at Pataudi police station for attempt to murder and the matter is being investigated.
