Haryana government will form Backward Classes Commission afresh: CM Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said that the state government is making afresh the Backward Classes Commission by adding nomadic tribes. “After its formation, this commission will take care of all the problems of the community. It will be ensured that people get the benefits of all the schemes through the commission,” he said.

The Haryana Backward Classes Commission was dissolved in May 2016. Khattar said that in order to bring the nomadic tribes into the mainstream of the society, their families have been issued ‘Parivar Pehchan Patra’ – a family identity card.

“Now they will get the benefit of all the schemes and services of the government through PPP. A survey of homeless nomadic families in the state has been done and we are planning to settle them,” he said at an event here. for an official statement. He said that the youth of these castes are now being given five additional marks in the government recruitment examination.

According to the statement, “I am happy that from 2018 to 2022, around 1,500 youth got government jobs using this benefit.” Khattar said that Haryana State Safai Karamcharis Commission has been constituted for the welfare of nomadic castes and to protect the interests of Safai Karamcharis.

The Haryana Chief Minister was here to participate in the celebrations on the birth anniversary of Baba Makhan Shah Labana and Baba Lakhi Shah Vanzara. He said that both Baba Makhan Shah Labana and Baba Lakhi Shah Vanzara had close links with the ninth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Tegh Bahadur.

He announced that a community center would be built in Kurukshetra and named after Baba Lakhi Shah Vanzara. He also directed the officials to identify the place for the establishment of Labana Bhawan. “Today I bow to Baba Makhan Shah Labana and Baba Lakhi Shah Vanzara on their birth anniversary,” he said.

Khattar said that great saints/personalities do not belong to any one religion or caste but to all. He said that the teachings of such great personalities are the legacy of the entire human society.

That’s why we are working to spread the message of great saints to the people under the ‘Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana’. Khattar said that his government has launched several schemes to realize the message of equality given by the great men. The Chief Minister said, we are engaged in financially strengthening those families in the state who have remained backward due to one reason or the other.
