Haryana: Trader’s driver shot dead, Rs 50 lakh looted Gurgaon News – Times of India

Yamunanagar: Two motorcycle-borne robbers shot dead the driver of a businessman in front of a private bank on Tuesday morning and looted around Rs 50 lakh from him near Kamani Chowk in Yamunanagar.
The driver went to the bank to deposit the cash, but was targeted by the assailants, who managed to escape with a two-wheeler.
Police said that the deceased has been identified as Shravan Kumar (45), a resident of Old Hamida Colony, Yamunanagar.
City businessman Ajay Bansal told the media that Shravan used to work as a driver in his company and had gone to the bank to deposit Rs 50,9,000 in cash.
The deceased was taken to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
SP Kamaldeep told the media that the police have obtained CCTV footage from near the spot and two people are seen carrying out the incident.
