Sensex and Nifty 50 ended in green on Monday, however, they buying at a slower pace with sharp buying in IT, auto, consumer durables, metal, and oil & gas stocks. Banking stocks were under pressure. Market participants will focus on major economic data domestically and globally.
Sensex ended at 62,724.71, up by 99.08 points or 0.16%. Nifty 50 ended at 18,601.50, surging 38.10 points or 0.21%.

Top gainers: HCL Tech (+2.58%), Infosys (+2.05%), NTPC (+1.64%), M&M (+1.26%), TCS (+1.19%).
Top losers: Power Grid (-1.25%), L&T (-1.04%), Titan (-0.82%), Maruti Suzuki (-0.80%), and HDFC Bank (-0.55%).
Nifty 50:
Top gainers: BPCL (+3.32%), HCL Tech (+2.53%), Infosys (+2.11%), NTPC (+1.86%), and Adani Enterprises (+1.68%).
Top losers: Power Grid (-1.29%), L&T (-0.97%), Cipla (-0.90%), Maruti Suzuki (-0.80%), and Titan (-0.66%).
BSE:
Top gainers: PTC Industries hit 20% upper circuit, Sheela Foam (+16.45%), Reliance Power (+15.47%), Suzlon Energy (+9.78%), and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (+9.43%).
Top losers: BEPL (-5.52%), Ion Exchange (-5%), SRF (-3.66%), Nava (-3.41%), and Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar (-3.40%).
